High-level diplomats, city delegations and more than a hundred companies will represent France at the 2009 BIO International Convention in Atlanta May 18-21.
The annual global biotechnology event is expected to bring 16,000-20,000 industry professionals to Georgia.
As part of the activities surrounding the event, French Ambassador to the U.S. Pierre Vimont will speak at the Southern Center for International Studies on the state of bilateral relations on May 20, from 7:30-9:30 a.m.
Jean-Francois Boittin, minister-counselor for economic and commercial affairs at the French embassy in Berlin, will also attend the conference.
Atlanta’s French sister city, Toulouse, will send a delegation, as will the city of Lyon.
