Atlanta-based RBS WorldPay Inc. has been chosen as the preferred electronic payments processor for Retail Pro International, a California-based company which provides software for 35,000 retail stores in 63 countries.

"This alliance is a natural fit matching two companies with a singular vision to assist small and medium-sized businesses to grow the profits of their businesses," Nick Peirson, vice president of market development for RBS WorldPay, said in a news release.

RBS, a subsidiary of the Royal Bank of Scotland, offers credit and debit card processing and other services for merchants throughout the world.
