Kennesaw State University's Coles College of Business will help Mumbai Business School in India launch an executive MBA program.
Coles College will receive a portion of the revenue from the program, which will pay for Coles faculty members to teach at Mumbai. The program is designed for executives who want to continue their education part-time while working at their regular jobs. Graduates will receive certificates from Coles College.
“Our collaboration with Mumbai Business School will extend the Coles College’s brand into the heart of one of the most dynamic economies in the world," Coles Dean Ken Harmon said in a news release.
Mr. Harmon and other Coles College administrators visited several business schools in Mumbai, Delhi, Mysore and Bangalore last fall before deciding to collaborate with Mumbai Business College.
This is the latest in a growing number of connections between business schools in metro Atlanta and India. Georgia State University's Robinson College of Business is helping the for-profit National Management School in Chennai recruit faculty and develop an American-style curriculum for its MBA program.
