Clayton State University’s Vietnamese Student Association (VSA) will be celebrating the Lunar New Year on Friday, Jan. 27, from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the University’s outdoor Lawson Amphitheater, located between the James M. BakerUniversity Center and Spivey Hall. The event is free and open to the public
The event will highlight Vietnamese customs around this major holiday, known as “Tet” in the Vietnamese language. The Lunar New Year that starts in 2012 is the “Year of the Dragon.” It officially begins on Monday, Jan. 23 on the solar calendar.
