What We Carried: Fragments & Memories from Iraq & Syria

GRAND OPENING: Saturday, March 25, 2017 @ 2:00 PM. The event will feature Portland-based photographer, Jim Lommasson, who will be premiere new images taken here in Atlanta.

FREE & OPEN TO THE PUBLIC during normal business hours. Hours are Tuesdays: 10:30 AM – 9:00 PM; Wednesdays – Fridays: 10:30 AM – 5:30 PM; Saturdays: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM. Closed Sundays & Mondays. About the exhibit: What We Carried: Fragments and Memories from Iraq and Syria is a traveling exhibition of the Arab American National Museum.The project represents the experiences of Iraqi and Syrian refugees while featuring items accompanying these individuals during their journey to America.
