The Atlanta Korea Trade Center (KOTRA) will feature Korean merger and acquisition specialists at an investment seminar to be held at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel downtown from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 27.
The M&A specialists attending the Profit Korea seminar will be representing specific Korean companies seeking U.S. companies interested in investment opportunities in Korea. KOTRA will set up individual meetings between the representatives of Korean and U.S. companies.
KOTRA Director General Soon-Hyung Kwon encouraged local companies to contact his office about attending the seminar so that they can learn more about the prospects for the recovery of Korea's economy.
Experts predict the economy will stabilize early next year, he said in a statement sent to GlobalFax last week. At that point, the window of opportunity will have passed.
He underlined Korea's future prospects by citing its fully liberalized capital market, new incentives and an attractive foreign exchange rate.
Participation in the program is by invitation only, and representatives of local companies are requested to contact Pat Hall of the KOTRA office of their interest by calling (404) 524-2424.
