Building on ideas touted during a September trade mission to the Southeast U.S., the Irish government’s export promotion agency, Enterprise Ireland, has launched a funding program to spend €10 million, about $13.7 million, attracting international startups.
Target industries include medical device manufacturing, online gaming, wireless Internet and financial services. The agency is particularly interested in funding businesses that have the potential to boost the country’s exports of products and services.
