The JCB Worldwide executive who opened the company's 500,000-square-foot facility in Savannah has been named a Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (CBE), the British Consulate-General announced on June 13.

John Patterson, deputy chairman of JCB Worldwide and chairman and CEO of its affiliate JCB North America, received the CBE honor in recognition of his service to British business development worldwide, according to a news release.
