The student-initiated Emerging India Summit will feature former U.S. ambassadors and Indian diplomats including Arun Singh, deputy of chief of mission at the Indian Embassy in Washington.

Mr. Singh will participate in a panel discussion called "India Rising: The Destination Decade" with Jagdish Sheth, Charles H. Kellstadt professor of marketing at Emory's Goizueta Business School. Marion Creekmore, a former U.S. ambassador to Sri Lanka and an Emory visiting professor, will moderate the discussion. Later in the day, Mr. Creekmore and Gordon Streeb, another visiting professor and a former U.S. ambassador to Zambia, will take part in a panel on bilateral relationships.
