Foreign students in Georgia and around the United States are eligible to apply for a one-time $2,500 scholarship from International Student Voice magazine.

Applicants should write an article in English about a past experience that influenced who they are today. The article should be submitted along with three to five personal photographs to Carrie Circosta at

Students who apply must also “like” the magazine on its Facebook page. The scholarship is open to any non-U.S. citizens holding a J1 or F1 visa and enrolled in an American university during the 2012-13 school year.

Articles should be submitted by Sept. 7.
