100 Años de Pedro Infante

The Consulate Genral of Mexico in Atlanta is pleased to extend a cordial invitation to attend the concert of the renowned international flautist, Elena Durán,
which will take place on April 22, 2018 at 5:00 pm at the Conant Performing Arts Center in Oglethorpe University. The Mexican-American artist will give a concert
paying homage to Mexican actor and singer, Pedro Infante on the 100 th anniversary of his birth. In “100 Años de Pedro Infante”, Elena will perform
popular songs of Mexican cinema such as “Cien Años” by Rubén Fuentes, “Cucurrucucu Paloma” by Tomás Méndez, “Amorcito Corazón” by Manuel
Esperón, “Zacatecas” by Genaro Codina and “Ella” by José Alfredo Jiménez, among others. Elena Durán has participated in concerts and recordings with prestigious orchestras in the United Kingdom, the United States of America and Europe, as well as in practically all orchestras in Mexico and has made Mexican music a passion, with great success in her shows. Entrance to the concert is absolutely free; the only requirement is to make a reservation.
