“Xi Jinping’s Comm-fucianist Thought: Some Sources and Consequences”

Stephen B. Herschler is Associate Professor of Political Science and Interim Director of the Center for Global Education at Oglethorpe University. His presentation will focus on his “distinctive” take on Xi’s thought. Dr. Herschler will discuss the relationship between language, thought and action as forms of power, a perspective which is not often found in the West but one that has a very long history in China.

Parking is available in the McDonough Street deck, on the front campus circle and on Dougherty St. in front of the Bullock Science building.
