Poland’s economics minister, Jan Steinhoff, will speak at a trade and investment conference of the Polish American Chamber of Commerce (PACC) to be held on Monday, Sept. 28 at the World Trade Center Atlanta.
Marek Kempski, governor of the Silesian Region in Poland, also is to attend. Mr. Kempski will lead a delegation from the Silesian Trade Economic Zone, which is located in one of the most industrialized and mineral-rich parts of the country.
Georgia Tech and the Georgia Department of Industry, Trade and Tourism are joining PACC as presenters of the event.
Dr. Steinhoff was among the founders of the Solidarity works committee at the Silesian University of Technology. He also is a co-founder and deputy of the Party of Christian Democrats.
