Atlanta-based tour operator Vacation Express has started seasonal flights to three Caribbean destinations for this summer from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
The routes reach Montego Bay, Jamaica; Cancun, Mexico and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
“By working with an airport this size, we can serve some of the underserved routes, giving vacationers more choices for a vacation,” said Kevin Hernandez, vice president of sales and digital strategy for Vacation Express, in a release.
Targeted toward budget travelers, the flights can be booked separately or as part of all-inclusive tour packages ranging from five to seven nights in those cities or destinations nearby, including Playacar, Cozumel and Riviera Maya in Mexico and Negril, Ocho Rios or Runaway Bay in Jamaica.
Packages start at $599. The flights are operated by Sunwing Airlines, Aeromexico, Swift Air, Interjet, Xtra Airways and Volaris. Vacation Express is part of the Sunwing Travel Group, a Canadian group with $1.6 billion in annual revenue.
Montego Bay is a sister city of Atlanta.
