5th Annual International Women’s Day Breakfast

A Globe Powered by (more) Women.
The World Affairs Council of Atlanta invites you to their 5th Annual International Women’s Day Breakfast, presented by Bank of America and sponsored by Novelis.
This is a unique opportunity for reflection, engagement, and inspiration. By bringing together men and women from the greater Atlanta community on this significant day, they are driving important discussions on gender equality. Each year, they tailor the breakfast to specific themes to ensure that the dialogues are both inclusive and relevant. Come join at the 2020 breakfast to both celebrate women and to be inspired to contribute to true gender equality.
Jill Ellis, the All Time Winningest Coach in U.S. Soccer History, and Former Head Coach of U.S. Women’s National Team, will participate in an inspiring conversation with Rickey Bevington, Senior Anchor at GPB.
Is there a more male-dominated industry than sports coaching?
Let’s break this stereotype. Jill Ellis is the first female coach to win the Women’s World Cup – both 2015 and 2019. She is using this platform to push for gender equality and tell her story of being named FIFA World Coach of the Year, CONCACAF Women’s Coach of the Year, and, along with her team, the winner of the Excellence in Sports Performance Yearly Award for Team in 2015.
Celebrate all women around the world.
This conversation is important not only for females, but for everyone. Bring your friends –this conversation will inspire them to be the change makers we need to end gender stereotypes.
