Virtual Bonenkai Holiday Zoom Gala

As a part of The Japan-America Society of Georgia’s year end tradition, the JASG will be celebrating the winter holidays virtually at the 2020 Bonenkai Holiday Celebration Gala on December 17, 2020 online via Zoom. They hope you will make plans to join as this event will be a wonderful way to re-connect with fellow members and friends, and make new acquaintances.

The JASG is dedicated to promoting business, commerce, and mutual understanding between Japan and Georgia.  To further these goals and the success of the Bonenkai Holiday Dinner, we encourage you to become a dinner sponsor.  Doing so will offer you a unique opportunity to promote your company among the Japanese and American business, government, and community leaders pare of the JASG’s membership.

They would also like to ask you to consider providing an item for a Silent Auction fundraiser to be held in conjunction with the event.  All proceeds from the auction will fund The JASG’s many educational, business, and cultural projects they offer throughout the year.  If you are a service organization or other institution that does not have an item to donate, please consider giving $100 or more, with which the JASG will purchase a certificate or some other appropriate item on your behalf.  Not only would your participation in this be greatly appreciated, but donations will also serve as a tax deduction and recognition will be given, both in their newsletter and on their website, to those businesses that donate.

Atlanta and Georgia are regarded as the center of Japanese industry in the Southeastern United States as Japanese-affiliated companies have invested over $10.4 billion in Georgia, where over 600 Japanese-affiliated companies currently operate. These companies together employ nearly 37,000 workers state-wide. With more than 50 Georgia companies having major operations in Japan, your contribution will certainly strengthen friendship and the mutual understanding between the Japanese, American and many other international communities not only in Georgia but in Japan as well.
