Immerse yourself in a day of cultural festivities at the Atlanta Chinatown Festival from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Engage your creative side at the Crafts Station, where guests of all ages can craft lanterns, red envelopes, and enjoy coloring, all while being enlightened by our cultural ambassadors. Take an exclusive tour of the intriguing Maomi’s Bookstore from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, exploring not just its books but also its captivating calligraphy. The Game Station, running concurrently, offers a space for friendly mahjong and bingo competitions for all ages. Participate in the Atlanta Chinatown Scavenger Hunt, discovering Chinatown’s secrets and meeting our new mascots Ai Mi and Gao. From 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, witness captivating performances, including a lantern parade by the Shaolin Institute, followed by a lion dance and interaction. Enjoy cultural showcases by the Chinese American Culture Performance Group, Jasmine Dance Company, Dragon Brothers and Phoenix Sisters, and the Atlanta Melody Art Ensemble. The day concludes with the Atlanta Chinatown Lantern Festival Karaoke, a harmonious way to unwind and explore the vibrant charm of Atlanta Chinatown.
