The Italy-America Georgia Chapter was founded in 2020.

The Georgia chapter of the Italy-America Chamber of Commerce Southeast has changed up its executive nearly five years after its founding, yet many familiar faces remain.

Nicola Vidali, a three-decade Atlanta resident and marketing leader with more than 35 years of experience leading campaigns for major brands, has been appointed as the chapter’s managing director.

Emanuela Barzaghi, CEO of L&S Lighting Corp., maintains her role as vice president, supported by four other executive committee members representing continuity in a chapter formally launched just before the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020.

Clockwise from top left: Emanuela Barzaghi, Franco Rossi, Giorgio Carrera, Filiberto Calascibetta, Stefania Poli and Nicola Vidali

These include Stefania Poli, COO of Omer USA Inc., a maker of car lifts for dealerships and repair shops; Filiberto Calascibetta, a partner at Rödl & Partner USA and the current honorary consul of Italy in Georgia; Franco Rossi, president of Aquafil USA Inc.; and Giorgio Carrera, CEO of FAE US Inc., a maker of heavy equipment for forestry, road construction and other applications.

Both Mr. Rossi of Aquafil and Mr. Carrera of FAE joined a launch panel in 2020 singing the praises of Georgia’s business climate but pointing out some very real hurdles to their business in areas like workforce and logistics.

Project Manager Fabiana Calogero will support Mr. Vidali in the managing director role.
