ProgenaCare Global's John Daniel makes his pitch on the way to winning $15,000 to grow the company's exports.

Three metro Atlanta companies took home a combined $30,000 to fuel their export sales in a pitch competition for what’s been billed as the largest collaborative economic development initiative in Georgia.

Completing its eighth year, with upwards of $800,000 distributed, the Atlanta Metro Export Challenge is a region-wide grant program designed to help local firms enact strategies for selling in foreign markets.

First-round winners (see 10 from earlier this year here) get $5,000 in reimbursable funding. They’re then invited back to showcase how they used it — and what another jolt of cash could do to supercharge their global success.

Of six who pitched at the Fourth Ward Offices on the Atlanta Beltline, three companies took away giant checks:

  1. First-place, $15,000 award winner: ProgenaCare Global
  2. Second-place, $10,000 award winner, CodeMettle
  3. Third-place, $5,000 award winner, Dr. Noze Best

Each winning company was also awarded a flight voucher courtesy of Delta Air Lines, which also contributed a few vouchers as drawings for audience members at the event.

Applications for the 2025 cohort are now open here through Jan. 17, 2025. To qualify, companies must have two full-time employees and be incorporated in Georgia.
