The Latinx electorate has become a force in Georgia, and the Latino Power Hour gives our community a platform to uplift the power of the Latino-Hispanic voices within our state.

Elizabeth Silva, Director for
Leadership Development at GALEO

Elizabeth Silva, a proud Mexican-American born and raised in Atlanta, serves as GALEO’s Director for Leadership Development. With dual degrees in Managerial Sciences and Marketing from Georgia State University and over five years of experience in business and civic engagement, she is passionate about empowering her community to amplify its voice.

Paloma Valdovinos, GALEO Institute for Leadership 2024 Cohort

Paloma Valdovinos, the eldest daughter of Mexican immigrants, is a passionate and resilient first-generation Mexican-American whose Southern upbringing sparked her commitment to community service and social equity. Her work focuses on challenging systemic injustice and encouraging individuals and organizations to reflect on how their actions may contribute to inequity.
