Once Upon My Mother (Ma mère, Dieu et Sylvie Vartan) Screening

The Québec Government Office in Atlanta and French Premiere teamed up to present a Québec/France film, Once Upon My Mother (Ma mère, Dieu et Sylvie Vartan), which will be screening on Wednesday, June 4th at the Tara Theatre.

This evening marks a proud celebration of Québec cinema.

Synopsis: In 1963, Esther gave birth to Roland, a boy with a clubfoot. Defying all odds, she promised he’d walk and live a full life. This film is a powerful tale of a mother’s relentless love, overcoming impossible challenges for her son.

This screening will be in French with English subtitles.
