GCIV Dinner Diplomacy With African NGO Leaders
July 16 at 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm
Join the Georgia Council for International Visitors (GCIV) for a special Dinner Diplomacy event as they host 7 African NGO leaders participating in a U.S. Department of State International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) focused on empowering youth through workforce development.
The international visitors will represent the following countries: the Central African Republic, Djibouti, Madagascar, Mali, Mozambique, Niger and Zimbabwe. During their exchange, the visitors aim to examine the role vocational education plays in providing Americans with training and skills tailored to fit targeted employment needs.
This Dinner Diplomacy event is also an opportunity to get to know other GCIV members who share international interests and help cultivate positive global change. Dinner is included with catering provided by Supreme Foods Worldwide. Capacity is limited, please RSVP as soon as possible to emily@gciv.org.
Must be a GCIV member to attend, but current members are welcome to bring a guest. Space is limited, and RSVPs are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. To RSVP or confirm your membership is current, email emily@gciv.org.
