Varenyky Fest
August 23 at 11:00 am – 3:00 pm
Get ready for an unforgettable celebration at the “Taste of Freedom” Varenyky Festival, happening this Ukrainian Independence Day at 3150 Old Atlanta Rd, Suwanee, GA 30024!
This isn’t just a festival; it’s a vibrant blend of Ukrainian culture, delicious food, and a powerful charitable mission to support large families in Ukraine devastated by war. Multiple local christian churches are supporting the event with a powerful prayer for Ukraine.
Entry to the festival is completely free, offering you access to a world of unique experiences. Explore the “Varenyky Fantasies” tent, featuring international twists on this beloved dish—from spicy Mexican to savory Italian! Wander through the “Varenyky Art Canvas” where you can add your creative touch, or bring the kids to the “Varenyky Character Coloring” zone. Engage with local churches and social organizations, who will be offering their delicious varenyky for “votes” using the special festival currency, “Georgiks”. Every Georgik you cast is a vote for your favorite flavor and a direct contribution to our cause!
From 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, enjoy a fantastic live concert featuring diverse musical talents. While general admission to the concert area is free, you can enhance your experience with VIP concert tickets for just $20, granting you comfortable, shaded seating to fully immerse yourself in the music. Purchase your tickets online in advance, since there will be no option to purchase VIP seats on the festival.
