Frontier is expanding its reach from Atlanta.

With colder temperatures setting in last month, Frontier Airlines launched new international routes to warmer climes from Atlanta, extending the budget carrier’s global reach from the world’s busiest airport.

The new destinations were mostly in the Caribbean, from Simpson Bay, Sint Maarten (a constituent country of the Dutch kingdom) to Nassau, the capital of the Bahamas. Turks and Caicos was also targeted with a Dec. 20 flight to the main city of Providenciales

But Frontier also opened two routes to Mexico, both on its Pacific side. Puerto Vallarta lies on the Pacific coast of the main Mexican landmass, while San Jose del Cabo sits at the edge of the Baja California peninsula, at the confluence of the Sea of Cortez and the Pacific Ocean.

All routes on the Denver-based carrier were weekly frequencies, suggesting they were focused on enabling weeklong tourist stays. Introductory fares on the international routes started at $79. See more about the routes here
