Representatives from the European Tax Group of Pricewaterhouse Coopers LLP and the Canton (State) of Fribourg, Switzerland, will be in Atlanta the week of March 15 to meet with officials from Georgia companies.

The representatives will provide in-house workshops, free of charge with advice on methods for minimizing global corporate taxes and maximizing profitability.

Oscar Tennissen of Pricewaterhouse Coopers will accompany Matt Julian, senior representative for the Fribourg Development Agency, on the visit.

Mr. Julian told GlobalFax in a telephone interview from his office in New York that international companies are drawn to Fribourg because of its workforce’s expertise in electronics, telecommunications, information technology and medical technology industries.

He also said that Fribourg’s ability to offer long-term corporate tax rates from about 8% for more than 10 years was particularly attractive.
