India Abroad weekly newspaper for Indians living outside of India is now represented in the Southeast by The Sai Group, an Atlanta-based marketing company.

Founded in 1970, India Abroad is distributed in 104 countries and has five U.S. editions including New York, Dallas, Los Angeles, and Chicago.  Articles from the Southeast are to be carried in an expanded U.S. East Coast edition.

The weekly newspaper has a circulation of 50,000-plus and is growing at a rate of some 12% per year as Indians continue to immigrate to North America.  Circulation is audited by the Audit Bureau of Circulations.

The Sai Group was launched in 1992 by Raju Kotak, a native of India who has lived in Atlanta for some 20 years.  The company’s main product is the “Asian Variety Show” which runs at 11 a.m. Saturday on WVEU-TV, Channel 69 in Atlanta and on cable systems elsewhere in Georgia.
