AGCO Appoints Manager of Global Engine Business
Duluth-based AGCO Corp., a global manufacturer and distributor of agricultural equipment, announced that Senior Vice President Hubertus Mühlhäuser will become head of the company’s Sisu Engine business worldwide.
Sisu Diesel, which became part of AGCO in 2004, produces some 30,000 engines that operate in various AGCO-brand agriculture equipment including Massey Ferguson and Valtra, as well as third party products.
Mr. Mühlhäuser, who assumes the new position in addition to his current responsibilities, is to help accelerate AGCO’s investments in Sisu technology in Finland and Brazil.
He joined AGCO in September 2005 as senior vice president for strategy and integration and assumed additional responsibility for AGCO’s worldwide information technology activities in 2006.
Before joining AGCO, Mr. Mühlhäuser was managing partner in Switzerland of Arthur D. Little Ltd. management consulting firm for 10 years. He was a member of the firm’s Global Executive Team and also led its Global Strategy & Organization Practice.
