Alpharetta-based Professional Software Consultants (PSC) has formed a joint venture with the Indian company Khodayss Systems, a new software subsidiary of the large Khodayss Group, to provide advanced software training for data warehousing.
PSC also provides training on sophisticated software for managing customer relationships and for software integration.
The agreement was reached in Atlanta by Narayan Swamy, president and CEO of PSC, and Khodayss Systems’ founder, Mahima Patel.
Khodayss Systems is based in Bangalore, the center of India’s booming software industry and capital of the state of Karnataka in the southern part of the country.
During a telephone interview with GlobalFax, Mr. Patel said that software exports from Karnataka are predicted to reach $2.5 billion by 2003. He cited a highly skilled workforce, many educational institutions, a pleasant climate, a large international airport and its geographic location as keys to the state’s economic success.
Mr. Patel is the son of J.H. Patel, the chief minister of the state of Karnataka. He visited Atlanta earlier this month during an extensive visit of the main high-tech centers in the U.S.
Khodayss Systems provides back-office systems in Bangalore for E-commerce and other services.
