Atlanta City Councilman Kwanza Hall is at the end of a four-week trip to Europe as a part of the Marshall Memorial Fellow program.
The program fosters trans-Atlantic relationships by introducing emerging U.S. and European Union leaders to business and political contacts in selected European countries.
Mr. Hall will be meeting with officials in Athens, Greece; Paris; Hamburg, Germany and Warsaw, Poland.
As a member of the Atlanta City Council, representing District 2, which includes Inman Park, the Old Fourth Ward and the Poncey-Highland neighborhoods, Mr. Hall sits the city’s community development and transportation committees. He is also vice-chair of the finance committee.
A native Atlantan, Mr. Hall attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, Mass., to study communications and media technology. He currently works as a senior consultant at MACTEC Engineering & Consulting Inc.
