CDC Software of Atlanta is providing software applications to improve the operating systems of China-based Shanghai Rainbow Color Plastics Co., a manufacturer of colored resins and concentrates.
CDC’s Ross Enterprise suite of software applications is being used by Shanghai Rainbow to improve the company’s production planning, inventory management and customer service levels.
CDC Software is a wholly owned subsidiary of CDC Corp. and a global provider of industry-specific enterprise software applications and consulting services.
Shanghai Rainbow Color Plastics was founded in 1995 as a joint venture of Shanghai Zijiang Group Company Ltd., Techno Polymer Co., Coloring Co. Ltd. and ITOCHU Corp. The company designs and manufactures colored resins, compounding and color concentrate and processes 14,000 tons of material every year. It exports more than half of its products to Japan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Indonesia.
Implementation of Ross Enterprise applications at Shanghai Rainbow is a joint effort of CDC Software and Japan-based Yokogawa Information Systems Corp.
