The 25th Atlanta Roundtable will feature representatives from the Xian Rayes Group, the largest investor in China Online Co., China’s largest business-to-business Internet service with some 60,000 subscribers.

Among the representatives scheduled to attend the breakfast event on Wednesday, Aug. 23, from 8-10:30 a.m. at the World Trade Center Atlanta are Tiejun Li, the group’s chairman; Yuanping Xie, president and CEO; Shuhe Li, vice president and Xiumei Ma, an assistant manager.  They may not all attend, however, as some of their visas still were to be cleared as of last week.

“Their purpose is to find partners and joint venture investors in Internet related business,” Lijian Lin, president of ChinaUse-com, a subsidiary of Alpharetta-based SinoUS Commercial Group, told GlobalFax in a telephone interview. “They also are looking for a relationship to develop their data center and their Internet service.”

The delegation will be in Atlanta from Aug. 17-25. Xinjun Li, president of Apollo Technology Co., a Hong Kong-based technology investment company, also has been invited to speak, but his appearance is still to be confirmed.

Ken Cutshaw, a partner in the Atlanta office of the Holland & Knight law firm and the roundtable’s chair, will report on his recent trip to China, and Mr. Lin will discuss the visitors’ objectives and available opportunities.

The members of the delegation do not speak English but will be able to answer questions through translators.

The cost of the event is $10 for members of the World Trade Center and $20 for non-members.
