An Atlanta firm that provides security to banks and merchants offering payment-processing services is expanding overseas.
ControlScan is partnering with London-based Foregenix Ltd. to help small and medium-sized businesses in Europe, the Middle East and Africa keep their payment data safe.
“ControlScan’s entrance into the global marketplace is a natural progression; data thieves don’t operate on a localized basis and neither should the effort to stop them,” ControlScan CEO Joan Herbig said in a news release.
Working together, the companies will offer a variety of services to assist clients in complying with payment card industry security standards.
