Nigel Richardson, a native of the United Kingdom and founder of the Atlanta-based management consulting firm Nigel Richardson & Associates, has been elected president of the FŽdŽration of Alliances Franaises of the U.S., which has 140 chapters in the U.S.

      Mr. Richardson was elected during the organization’s national convention held in Atlanta Oct. 15-17.  He has served as president of the Alliance Franaise d’Atlanta for the past four years and has been secretary of the board of the FŽdŽration, which is dedicated to the teaching of the French language, the spreading of French culture and the fostering of Franco-American relations.

      The FŽdŽration belongs to an international organization with 1,000 chapters in 133 countries.

      Mr. Richardson came to the U.S. from the U.K. in 1968. He has had his company for 20 years and has provided consulting services in North America, Asia, Africa and Europe.
