GlobalFax has learned that the Atlanta-based search firm of Schuyler, Baker & Parker is seeking to fill the position of director of international development for the Baptist Sunday School Board in Nashville, Tenn.
The director will establish vision, strategic objectives, issue analysis and entry states for global expansion in the Christian publishing market. The newly established position has a compensation package valued at $90,000 annually with opportunities for bonuses.
The Baptist school board, which is owned and operated by the Southern Baptist Convention, is among the world’s largest publishers of religious materials, currently producing 180 monthly and quarterly products and 400 to 500 undated products annually.
Its board of trustees oversees the work of the denomination’s education and publication agency, which is self-supporting through the sale of church literature, books, music, films, recordings, cassette tapes, Bibles and church supplies.
