Barnes & Thornburg LLP’s Atlanta office has brought in Kiyoaki “Kiyo” Kojima as a partner in its Japanese Services Group.
A corporate lawyer formerly with Berman Fink Van Horn P.C., Mr. Kojima focuses on helping Japanese companies enter the U.S. market by assisting them with site selection, tax incentives and setting up subsidiaries.
“Our ever-expanding international client base offers Kiyo a chance to shine, and he will provide tremendous skill and experience to our international clients looking to do business in the U.S. and overseas,” said Pete Morse, chairman of the global services practice group for the Indiana-based firm.
Mr. Kojima is a member of the Atlanta Bar Association, a board member of the Japan-America Society of Georgia and a board member of the Japanese Chamber of Commerce of Georgia.
