A Bavarian call center business delegation will be in Atlanta Monday, March 6, seeking business relationships.
Several call center providers from Bavaria and heads of companies that use call centers, including financial companies, a technology company and an advertising agency, will be at the JW Marriott Hotel Lenox from 11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Bavarian industry consultants, agencies and firms that produce call center equipment and build facilities will attend as well.
Peter Howerton, senior customer request manager specialist at Lucent Technologies, will speak on Internet and voice technology at the event, which is open to the public. It will be sponsored by the State of Bavaria U.S. Office for Economic Development and hosted by the German American Chamber of Commerce South.
Earlier in the day, the delegation will hear from Richard Balentine of Charlotte, N.C. – based Balentine & Associates on call center technology and Chris Beecroft, regional manager of financial services at Atlanta’s Siebel Inc. on customer relationship management.
After the program, the delegation will visit BellSouth’s “State of the Art” call center and then travel to Charlotte.
