I chose to read Everyone’s in Sales at a moment when reinforcing alignment, accountability and shared purpose across the organization felt especially important. Cohen’s message—that sales is not a function confined to one department but a culture embraced by everyone—strongly resonated with my own leadership philosophy.
The book reinforces the idea that every individual, regardless of role or geography, influences revenue, growth and customer experience. Cohen’s perspective challenged me to think less about changing processes and more about changing mindset.
When employees understand how their daily actions connect to value creation, organizations become more agile, more collaborative and more resilient. This approach has influenced how I view leadership communication, cross-departmental collaboration and long-term strategy.

I would recommend this book to Global Atlanta readers, particularly those operating in international or multicultural environments. In global business, success is built on trust, clarity and consistency across borders. A shared sales culture creates a common language and purpose that transcends titles and locations. Cohen’s reminder — “Don’t do anything different; think differently about what you do”—is both practical and powerful, making this a valuable read for leaders and organizations seeking sustainable growth in an increasingly competitive global market.
