Officials on May 7 celebrated the opening of U.S. Go Goal's showroom in Gwinnett.

A Chinese cabinet company has opened a new Gwinnett County showroom and 35,000-square-foot distribution center in the city Peachtree Corners, announcing plans to hire 20 people over the next three years.

U.S. Go Goal Cabinet Inc., a subsidiary of Roc Furniture Industrial Co. Ltd., said the location would provide a beachhead for expansion through the Southeast U.S. as the housing market picks up. The company’s Alibaba profile lists its home base as Jiangsu province and its revenues as $50-$100 million.

Gwinnett is already home to Panda, another cabinet distributor with an outpost in Norcross, along with about a dozen other Chinese companies, many of which have opened distribution hubs and research centers in the county. This includes electronics giant Hisense, I.T. firm TravelSky and Ningbo Self Electronics, which makes LED lights.
