After two years as chair of the U.S.-China Business Council, Coca-Cola Co. Chairman and CEO Muhtar Kent has been replaced by the leader of another prominent executive.
The council, which advocates on behalf of U.S. companies operating in China, elected Robert McDonald, chairman, president and CEO of Procter & Gamble Co., as its new board chair.
Mr. Kent will remain on the board of the organization, which counts 240 American companies as members.
Dan Brutto, president of Atlanta-based United Parcel Service Inc.‘s international division, is also on the board.
