bGlobal Inc., an Atlanta-based consulting firm, is to represent Alabama and Georgia companies during a trip to eastern China at the end of November and is looking for additional firms to take part in the trade mission.
Those companies already signed up include manufacturers in the wire, jewelry and furniture production industries. According to Rodney Bolls, a principal with bGlobal in Atlanta.
He told GlobalFax that bGlobal representatives are to visit with potential Chinese partners, suppliers and distributors in Beijing and Shanghai, among other cities, in meetings set up by bGlobal’s Beijing-based contact.
Mr. Bolls is a graduate of the University of Alabama, where he received masters’ degrees in international relations and project management before moving to China to work as a consultant in 2002.
While there, he developed a logistics tracking system for Australia-based Mailman Business Consulting Co., which provides post card advertising throughout China. Mr. Bolls also trained Chinese employees at John Hancock Tian An Insurance Co., a joint venture between China’s Tian An Insurance and John Hancock Financial Services Inc., in American business practices.
