Delta Air Lines Inc. on July 1 started a nonstop flight from Detroit to Beijing, continuing the expansion of its China service.
The new flight operates five days a week. Delta now offers 44 weekly flights between Detroit and six Asian cities, according to a news release.
“Our Detroit hub is a key part of our Asian network, and our new flight to Beijing will mean even more opportunities for economic development and job growth in the city,” said Vinay Dube, senior vice president of Asia Pacific, in the news release
Delta now has nonstop service from Detroit to Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Seoul, South Korea; Tokyo and Nagoya, Japan.
