When the Netherlands announced a new consulate in Atlanta, conspicuously absent was the visa function present at many government outposts. Instead, the Atlanta office would focus on economic affairs.
Yet the presence of the consulate is already providing Dutch citizens living in Atlanta and beyond to get their diplomatic documents in order.
The local consulate, just opened in January, is hosting a “mobile passport station” operated by the Miami consular section April 15-16.
Appointments can be made at the consulate’s offices at Colony Square in Midtown.
Dutch nationals in need of passport services should learn more about the process and requirements here.
The mobile passport services are only for citizens of the Netherlands, not those of other nationalities looking to live or work in the Netherlands.
