Payment processing firm Elavon has named Thomas Phillips its new chief information officer, bringing him to the Atlanta headquarters from a position at Citigroup‘s Singapore office. 

At Citi, Mr. Phillips most recently headed up technology products for the global cards and personal lending unit. Before that, he served as technology head for Asia, overseeing the bank’s information-technology leaders around the region. He also worked at various times for Citi in Japan, Belgium and the United Kingdom

He has bachelor’s degrees in economics and German from Allegheny College in Pennsylvania and a master’s of business administration from Thunderbird School of Global Management
