Eric de Groot, president of Global Education Matters in Atlanta, has founded the Holland America Chamber and will serve as its managing director.
He started the organization to promote and celebrate the 200-year trade relationship between the United States and the Netherlands.
The group will host cultural and commercial events in Atlanta, as well as a mission to the Netherlands to meet with members of The Hague.
Membership in the chamber is free, but Mr. de Groot said that he is seeking event sponsors. He is also looking for additional board members.
