2021 Global Village Welcome Walk presented by Delta Air Lines

On November 6, Global Village Project (GVP) will host their 9th annual Global Village Welcome Walk to celebrate and welcome immigrants and refugees to the local community, and reaffirm to them GVP commitment to make this a refuge – a safe place – for them to live and thrive.
Approximately 300 people will gather in Clarkston to walk five miles to Decatur. There will be students, parents, teachers, volunteers, donors and friends of GVP’s mission to strengthen connections between communities.

With the safety of the community top of mind, it is asked that all participants wear a mask to the Welcome Walk, whether vaccinated or not.
