The Georgia Latino Film Fiesta (GALIFF) is excited to extend an exclusive invitation to this year’s celebration of film, culture, and music, honoring their special guests. After having to postpone due to Hurricane Helene, GALIFF is back, stronger than ever, and ready to deliver an extraordinary experience.
The evening’s highlight will be the premiere of “Mimy & Tony: The Creation of a Dream,” a captivating documentary that delves into the creative journey of Mimy and Tony Succar, a remarkable mother-son duo. The film traces Mimy’s humble beginnings as a singer and her resurgence on La Voz Perú, culminating in a Grammy-nominated collaborative album. Featuring celebrated artists and heartwarming stories woven into each song, the film is a powerful testament to their passion and dedication to the world of music. A co-production between the United States (Florida) and Peru, this documentary offers a unique cross-cultural narrative.
Following the premiere, guests will be treated to a special live performance by Tony and Mimy Succar, adding an unforgettable musical experience to the night. GALIFF looks forward to welcoming their valued supporters to this inspiring event.
