2024 Sabar Rek ATLANTA Conference & Cultural Event

The Sabar Rek ATLANTA Conference & Cultural Event encapsules the spirit and cultural heritage of Senegal / the Senegambia region. Traditions are not just art forms, but also serve as vital components of social, ceremonial, and spiritual life within its West African communities.

Every Year. Every Fall. Every October. The weekend prior to Indigenous People’s Day, we gather to foster a heightened sense of community and fellowship—using traditional arts and culture to empower individuals to become active participants in shaping a more inclusive future.
