8th Annual Oktoberfest Fun Run and Oktoberfest of Atlanta

The Oktoberfest in Munich is canceled, but the spirit of Oktoberfest continues whether you’re in München or Manhattan, Miami, Milan, or Macau!

Anyone can participate in this family-friendly event celebrating German culture and heritage:

This year’s fun run will be mostly virtual:

Germans and Germany-fans, competitive and leisure runners, in jerseys, Lederhosen or Dirndl, Oktoberfestlers, families, corporate teams, and small business owners come together to celebrate the famous German Oktoberfest tradition – together and across the world – because in 2020, we physically separate and yet find unity in virtual events because the distance between people is now measured in arms-lengths to a mobile device. Celebrate German culture and heritage with a virtual fun run and an in-person or virtual ceremony:

Run or walk your 1k, 5k, or 10k between October 3 – October 15, 2020

Post your video or photo on your social media account and tag us to enter for prizes.

• Upload your time and share on your social media accounts to qualify for prizes.

• For participants in Atlanta, Der Biergarten at Centennial Olympic Park is the annual Oktoberfest event location. As every year, Der Biergarten is offering Oktoberfest food and beverages, on-location (limited seating and reservations only) and for take-out throughout the entire race period.

• Priority reservations at the Atlanta Live Event including the complementary Spanferkel roast
