Save the Date for 9th Annual Power to Inspire event, presented by The National Center for Civil and Human Rights!
This year’s Power to Inspire will be a joyous and celebratory performance that recreates moments from the March on Washington to mark its 60th anniversary. Using video, song and performance of speeches, this immersive experience will relive a glorious day on the National Mall in 1963, and provide us with inspiration to continue the fight for justice today.
The honoree this year is Mrs. Myrlie Evers-Williams, the widow of Medgar Evers. We will also recognize Women of the Movement, who did not always receive credit for their efforts in the civil rights struggle. Ambassador Andrew Young will serve as Honorary Chair.
