Ali Velshi, MSNBC Chief Correspondent & Host of “Velshi”, will discuss his latest book, Small Acts of Courage: A Legacy of Endurance and the Fight for Democracy. He will also moderate a panel of local leaders who arrived in the United States as refugees and immigrants and are championing peace and equity for all. Distinguished panelists include:

- Dr. Gulshan Harjee, Co-Founder, Clarkston Community Clinic.
Doors will open at 10:30 am.
